Mission 19341 started out as a goal to not only summit Africa's tallest mountain but to raise money and awareness for one of my favorite non-profits...Africa New Life. Today I still support the ministry of Africa New Life and all the good work they do to provide education and community build in and around Rwanda. But I also want to share insights, information and the experiences needed to prepare you for that high altitude hike.
For those of you who do not know me my name is James Oliver and I'm a husband, father and man of faith who loves to hike. I have an amazing family who appreciates and supports my love of hiking. In fact, if it were not for my wife I probably wouldn't have rediscovered how much I enjoy the challenge of hiking some of the tallest mountains around. I mean I summitted my first 14er in 2003 and it took 18 years to bag my second. I want to share my passion by taking you on a journey through some of my hikes and the gear I use to get me there.
Do you have a question about Mission 19341 or one my hikes or the gear I use? Send me a message, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
